Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Production Manager, your main tasks will include:
Production Organization:
- Participate in project kick-off meetings when necessary.
- Develop individual equipment schedules and contribute to the overall workshop scheduling with the planning team.
- Assign personnel to different production sites or machines to align with the Master Production Plan.
- Supervise technical leads in the Cutting, Boiler-making, Welding, and Surface Treatment departments.
- Select and propose suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
- Report urgent maintenance needs for machines.
- Plan production downtime with the Industrial Director and Production Manager.
- Occasionally assist in drafting layout and tooling plans.
- Anticipate the supply of raw materials and consumables for workshops and production lines.
Production Monitoring:
- Track manufacturing schedules and report progress.
- Organize and optimize manufacturing processes based on work orders.
- Adjust production resources (human and material) to meet budget constraints and the Master Production Plan.
- Handle unexpected issues and ensure continuity of production.
- Monitor production activity data, manage malfunctions, and recommend corrective actions.
Quality Control:
- Verify daily work hours and make necessary corrections.
- Monitor production progress against the Master Production Plan.
- Supervise and ensure compliance of production and finished products with design specifications.
- Alert the quality control department in case of non-compliance.
- Perform visual quality checks on materials ready for shipment.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Define personnel requirements.
- Organize and coordinate the work of team members.
- Communicate key objectives and strategic directions.
- Anticipate risks and propose well-developed solutions.
- Manage crisis situations within the Cutting, Boiler-making, Welding, and Surface Treatment departments.
Required Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a similar role.
- General knowledge of production management.
- Theoretical and practical expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Boiler-making construction.
- Handling and overturning of large and heavy equipment using one or multiple cranes, with some knowledge of rigging.
- Mechanical engineering.
- Welding.
- Material cutting techniques.
- Industrialization of mechanical products.
- Basic surface treatment processes and techniques (technical datasheets and applications).
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Risk analysis using problem-solving tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in office software.

- Salary: €48K – €58K over 13 months.
