Will be required to carry out interventions at client sites both in France and abroad.
Significant Activities Description
Monitoring:
- Ensure technological and methodological monitoring that may be useful for current or future projects (design, maintenance, or machine reconditioning solutions);
- Adhere to processes and work instructions defined by management;
- Ensure compliance with safety rules during project execution, particularly during site visits (commissioning, expertise, troubleshooting);
- Ensure the integrity of the equipment and vehicle provided for interventions (owned or rented), and report any damage to facilitate maintenance or replacement operations.
Project Management:
- Participate in production and procurement launches of equipment;
- Contribute to specifications for subcontracting tenders;
- Attend project launch meetings, project follow-up meetings, and production monitoring meetings;
- Ensure and monitor equipment commissioning for projects under their responsibility until obtaining the final acceptance report;
- Contribute to and update operational manuals for new or reconditioned equipment;
- Capture all relevant information into the Promill information structure to ensure accessibility to authorized personnel (commissioning sheets, project completion reports).
On-Site Intervention:
- Participate in the development of the client’s prevention plan and ensure that necessary permits are in place (work permits, fire permits, access permits, etc.);
- Organize and prepare travel, and write intervention reports for the projects under their responsibility;
- Apply an analysis and recommendation process to illustrate expertise and troubleshooting with the client;
- Carry out technical interventions within the allocated time, independently, and considering the context;
- Train clients on operating new or reconditioned machines;
- Ensure client satisfaction and report any complaints to management. If necessary, handle the resolution of these complaints.
Workshop Testing:
- Organize and conduct tests on new machines;
- May be required to conduct process tests (Granulation testing center);
- Coordinate subcontracting actions related to their testing activities.
Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment (QHSE):
- Comply with QHSE rules;
- Raise alerts in case of potential health and safety hazards;
- Avoid behaviors that could harm their own or others’ health (e.g., driving when fatigued).
Responsibilities and Degree of Autonomy
- Determine solutions, optimize methods and resources based on company capacity and client needs, with validation from management;
- Follow through on tasks until completion;
- Manage workload and deadlines (prioritize and alert in case of overload);
- Maintain confidentiality of technical aspects of the project;
- Communicate instructions and important information to colleagues and management;
- Ensure that all steps of procedures and instructions are followed.
Specific Professional Knowledge
- General knowledge of electrotechnics and/or industrial maintenance (pneumatics, hydraulics, electromechanics);
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in mechanics;
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in reading technical drawings;
- Professional proficiency in English;
- Good knowledge of the company’s products and services, as well as the industries it operates in;
- Principles of customer relations;
- Project management skills;
- Proficient use of office tools, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
