Job Purpose
Perform all general accounting operations up to the balance sheet (payroll, social and fiscal declarations, management dashboards, etc.) in accordance with accounting rules within the MIG, MIP, MAGSTO, GRILLON scope.
Ensure the accuracy of the company’s accounts in compliance with accounting, social, and fiscal regulations.
Act as the accounting reference for the MIG and MIP scopes.

- New hires and/or less experienced colleagues for knowledge transfer from the Accounting department.

General Accounting Management
- Verify and record supporting accounting documents (purchase and sales invoices, receipts, statements of contributions [BRC], payroll journals, expense reports);
- Perform bank reconciliations;
- Process accounting transactions in accordance with the accounting plan: customer invoice collection, supplier invoice payments, funding of various expenses and fixed assets;
- Close the accounting year: Prepare annual accounts and record financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and associated notes);
- Prepare the tax package and maintain required accounting documents for audits (tax authorities, statutory auditors, external accountants);
- Perform cost recharges and reconcile intra-group transactions monthly;
- Prepare the annual audit of the company;
- Manage relations with the statutory auditor and tax authorities for the defined scope.
Compliance Control with Regulatory Obligations
- Define the applied accounting plan (general accounting plan [PCG] or company-specific), and monitor its implementation;
- Ensure adherence to the accounting process, procedures, and applicable accounting standards;
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, including accounting closing deadlines.
Cash Flow and Tax Management
- Perform bank reconciliations;
- Calculate and manage various taxes.
Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) Responsibilities
- Comply with QHSE rules;
- Alert when there is a health or safety risk to oneself or others;
- Avoid behaviors that are detrimental to personal or others’ health (e.g., respecting daily and weekly rest periods).
Responsibilities and Freedom of Action
- The tasks require the application of a well-mastered technique (general accounting), adherence to fiscal rules and standards. The ability to present studied solutions and achieved results or methods is required.
- The tasks involve preparing documents based on collected data to ensure that the result meets the required outcome in compliance with established processes.
- Assistance is provided by the general accounting manager or the financial director.
- Manage workload and deadlines (prioritize and alert in case of overload).
- Conduct negotiations while considering the company’s interests.
Specific Professional Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of accounting;
- Professional knowledge of economic law (corporate law, taxation, etc.);
- Administrative management skills;
- Proficient in IT tools, spreadsheets, and accounting software (SAGE);
- Mastery of accounting and tax regulations;
- Professional proficiency in English.
