Fapmo brings its skills and knowledge to many industrial sectors, including naval defense, energy, desalination, sugar refining, metallurgy, mining, chemical and petroleum industries, and many others worldwide.

Since June 2024, FAPMO has acquired a facility specializing in the design and manufacture of motors, enabling it to offer motorized pumps to all its clients.

Within the facility located in Couëron (44), with a team of around twenty people, and directly reporting to General Management, as Site Manager, your main responsibilities within this small entity will include:

  • Organize and manage the site’s activities, defining the production plan, scheduling, and efficient processes to ensure the continuity of flows from supply to shipment,
  • Ensure the scheduling and workload distribution across different departments and/or services with all site personnel, in collaboration with the entity’s various departments,
  • Manage your budget and propose investments necessary for the site’s activity continuity and optimization,
  • Track and report cost and project progress, perform analyses, and implement corrective actions if necessary to optimize budgets in coordination with General Management,
  • Implement the entity’s industrial policy by managing the site activities under your responsibility, in compliance with applicable standards,
  • Oversee the site’s QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) policy, report on these metrics, and monitor “product quality” data to the entity’s QHSE Director,
  • Assess the criticality of installations, address incidents and malfunctions of any kind, and propose action and prevention plans to General Management,
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for the site’s performance and safety in collaboration with General Management and/or related departments,
  • Ensure inter-departmental links within the site, manage external partners, and facilitate expert intervention if necessary,
  • Collaborate with HR to manage workshop staffing and team competencies,
  • Oversee cross-functional projects for the site in the role of internal controller,
  • Track and monitor the site’s key performance indicators, analyze and report these to General Management,
  • Make essential and necessary decisions to uphold commitments made to clients,
  • Engage in technology watch activities in collaboration with technical teams.

You are both a leader and a manager, responsible for ensuring the site operates effectively and profitably. You oversee the smooth running of production, product and/or service quality, optimize the production chain, and ensure the proper functioning of related services in collaboration with dedicated Directors to maximize the site’s efficiency and profitability.

You are responsible for meeting deadlines, controlling costs, and maintaining product quality, aiming to optimize the entity’s value and ensure client satisfaction, all while fostering team cohesion.

Required Profile:

  • Education: Master’s degree (Bac +5) in mechanics, mechanical engineering, electrotechnics, industrial production management, or industrial engineering.
  • Skills: 7 to 10 years at an engineering level in the industrial sector (e.g., metallurgy, steel industry, welding, mechanics). You understand and master transformation and assembly processes for special machinery within a continuous improvement framework. You are proficient in Lean production methods associated with flow management. You have an excellent command of product industrialization methods and complex project management. You are comfortable working with numerical data, managing budgets, and preparing production reports.
  • Attributes: Rigor and Organization are the two pillars of your work methodology. Strong analytical and synthesis skills for various situations. Cross-functional work enables you to operate in project mode. With excellent interpersonal skills, you are a strong leader with a preference for fieldwork and a supportive approach.
  • Other Skills: Minimum technical or professional English, knowledge and experience with an ERP system, proficiency in MS Office, and mastery of production and flow management processes. Budgeting skills and management expertise.

Contract: Permanent full-time position on-site, with travel to our different facilities and clients.

Salary: Between €51,000 and €62,400 gross per year + 13th month + Vacation Bonus + Saint Eloi Bonus + Variable of 12 to 15%.

Occasional remote work possible after six months of service.
