Attached to the Production Department, your main missions are as follows:
- Identify the different stages of work throughout the day;
- Identify the materials and the various appropriate welds according to the instructions, technical documents, plans, DMOS, QMOS;
- Gather consumables and welding equipment for your workstation;
- Alert his/her superiors in the event of missing parts;
- Adjust the parameters of welding machines and equipment;
- Check the operation of a tool or equipment;
- Check that the joints have been made in accordance with the DMOS;
- Position the parts, plates, tubes, profiles between them or on a support (rotators, positioner, clamping means);
- Assemble and weld different elements together or on the support;
- Carry out a visual inspection to verify the conformity of welds, constructions and assemblies according to plan and DMOS;
- Identify a deviation in your position in order to determine the causes and propose solutions to your hierarchy;
- Carry out rework or finishing operations (edge, deposit, surface, etc.) relying on the welding coordinator and his/her hierarchy;
- Carry out level 1 (preventive) maintenance based on the preventive maintenance sheet;
- Carry out requests for maintenance interventions (maintenance order);
- Complete the intervention monitoring materials and transmit the information to the department concerned;
- Check that all control specifications are completed and made available to the control department for archiving.
- Ensure the surroundings are tidy after welding equipment.
Profile sought:
- Professional knowledge in reading and interpreting DMOS and plans;
- Professional knowledge of metallurgy (material characteristics);
- Practical knowledge of measuring instruments related to welding;
- Practical knowledge of manual and portable power tools (electric saw, sander, etc.);
- Practical professional knowledge in penetrant testing;
- Theoretical and practical professional knowledge in the semi-automatic welding process and/or;
- Theoretical and practical professional knowledge in the TIG welding process and/or;
- Theoretical and practical professional knowledge in the welding process with the welding jib (under flux).

Salary: Hourly rate €13.50 to €15 depending on experience
