As part of our diversification and development at our CHARMES (02) site, we are looking for a Welding Quality Inspector on a permanent contract (CDI).

Main Responsibilities:

Working within the Inspection and Quality Control Department, your key tasks will include:

  • Defining and monitoring Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR / QMOS)
  • Defining and monitoring Welder Qualifications
  • Writing Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
  • Drafting Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
  • Ensuring traceability of materials and filler metals in manufacturing under ISO 3834
  • Preparing quality documentation
  • Overseeing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and dimensional inspections
  • Inspecting subcontracted fabrications in France and abroad

Required Skills:

  • Use of measurement and inspection tools
  • Writing inspection reports and manufacturing files
  • Drafting quality documentation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and rigor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Profile Sought:

  • Basic training in boilermaking / metal fabrication
  • IWT (International Welding Technologist) or IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification
  • Beginners are welcome to apply

Job Details:

  • Contract Type: Permanent contract (CDI)
  • Work Location: 02800 CHARMES
  • Work Schedule: 218-day annual fixed-rate agreement
  • Salary: €37,000 – €40,000 over 13 months, depending on profile and experience
  • Additional Compensation & Benefits:
